The Earthen Lamp

 

In the bitterly cold winters, the sun when it started to rise as its distance narrowed to the horizon, light on earth was diminishing and this make way for darkness. The people were afraid that when the sun will finally set and darkness will be permanent and no one would see anything then what will happen. People were fearful that when the sun completes its set, then darkness will show its strength by putting his foot over the earth. Far and Far away in a small cottage in the numb black night the little earthen lamp lifted its wick and screamed I’ll challenge the darkness if not everything but my small corner I’ll not let the darkness cast itself around me. With the example of the small earthen lamp many little lamps from many homes lifted their wick against darkness and the people were shocked that these small lamps illuminated the massive darkness. Now I believe that today darkness of Rape, bureaucracy, terrorism, and sweet darkness of ‘betrayed love’ with all of their strength would vanish and lamps will arise, if not all I would say one earthen lamp will raise.  For sure one will rise.
